Hello Pack 444 Families! It’s time for the pack 444 popcorn weekly update!
THIS WEEK’S TOP SELLER!
Each week, there will be highlight of those scouts who are doing an outstanding job at selling popcorn. This week, the shout out goes to Lion Cub Scout Colin F. He has already sold $530 in door to door (aka wagon) sales! Wow! With that amount, he already qualifies to receive great rewards directly from Trail’s End. Congratulations, Colin!
A big high five to those who have sold already sold their entire starter pack! Keep up the good work!
POPCORN “WAREHOUSE”
The first popcorn warehouse went very well. The check-in consisted of $820 in sales using cash and checks, and that doesn't even include credit card sales! Remember, every week a scout that makes $75 can stop by the check-in to enter into the weekly raffle. Several scouts checked in and were able to put their names in a raffle for prizes. What a great start for our pack!
If you haven’t started selling, don’t worry! You still have time! Remember, your minimum goal is to sell the starter pack, BUT the prized goal is to have each scout reach $600 in sales. You can do it! Parents’ workplaces and family events are great places to sell.
SELL POPCORN ONLINE
Door to door sales are not the only way to sell popcorn. If you make an online fundraiser page, your customers can order from the comfort of their homes and all product is delivered straight to them. Another advantage…..the online trails-end sales site is offering FREE SHIPPING as of 9/9/18!! This offer is said to end at any time without notice. This is a great time for all customers, especially those who live out of town, to order some popcorn. SIGN UP FOR STOREFRONT SALES
Storefront sale signups are now active. Our pack has been allowed by a few local businesses to sell popcorn at the entrances. This is another great way to achieve your goal. Sales to each scout will be awarded by calculating the total storefront sales for the entire selling period, divided by the total shifts, multiplied by the number of shifts a scout participates in. Make sure to sign up soon! The shifts go quickly. Only one shift signup per scout allowed during the week of 9/10-9/16. Beginning 9/17, you may signup for an additional one shift per week.
To signup for a shift:
- Download the popcorn app first (http://mobileapp.trails-end.com/)
- Login or creaste an account
- Click on the menu button in the upper left hand corner
- Click on book a shift
- Choose from the list which shift you want.
It’s very simple!

Closing Thoughts
Every Thursday, visit the weekly popcorn warehouse check-in, from 6-8 p.m., at Geist Storage, behind Needler’s markert. Bring proof of your $75 sales for the week, and get an entry into the raffle. Pick up more popcorn to sell.
Remember that October 21 is the very last day to sell popcorn.
